A quiet charge became the spark.
Subproof started with the familiar frustration of forgotten subscriptions, free trials, and payments that renew before you remember them.

Subproof was created independently by Christian Alexander Koumandaros, a 19-year-old developer building a calmer way to remember payments, warranties, renewals, and agreements.
The path
Subproof started with the familiar frustration of forgotten subscriptions, free trials, and payments that renew before you remember them.
Being hard of hearing made clarity, calm interfaces, and trustworthy systems feel non-negotiable. The product had to reduce noise, not create more of it.
Subproof was designed and developed by one person, not a committee, with every screen aimed at solving the problem firsthand.
No ads. No selling data. No pretending financial memory needs to become financial surveillance.
Founder journey
Being hard of hearing taught Christian how much good systems matter. Subproof is built around that same idea: reduce the noise, surface what matters, and make the next action obvious.
Like a lot of people, Christian signed up for free trials and services that seemed harmless at the time, then later got charged for something he had completely forgotten about.
He wanted one simple place to track subscriptions, warranties, recurring charges, and important agreements without another confusing dashboard.
Subproof gives people a reliable record of the payments and commitments they make, so nothing quietly slips through the cracks.
Mission and future
The future of Subproof is simple: help people avoid surprise charges, stay organized, and understand every payment commitment without selling their attention or their data.
